Trudi and Norman left on their road trip through Washington, Oregon and Nevada in high spirits.
We heard a report via relatives in Seattle that they found a bed bug! in their motel room which Norman promptly caught and took to the manager. Apparently after apologies they were given a another and better suite without bed bugs we hope! Our family grapevine is faster than the fastest broad band!
We hope they have a great trip and check in at the blog to share something of their adventures such as flying in a small plane, not as pilots!, over the Grand Canyon.

ReplyDeleteYes, it's true... our trip started out with an unwelcomed bed bug in our Tukwila hotel, which we assume hitched a ride there on someone else's suitcase. It was hiding under the door to the room, revealing it's little squirming self just as Norman opened it. (" Ole' Eagle Eyes" is what I always call him.) We did get a larger suite room, tis' true, but as we were with relatives the whole day and well into the evening, we didn't really spend any time there.( in the large Jacuzzi tub for instance.) The bed was given a thorough inspection before we went to sleep,and we made sure nothing, which could offer more free transport to any other unwelcomed bugs, was placed on the floor. We were on the road bright and early next morning... stay tuned for further details!
