Trudi and Norman are off to London Heathrow tonight and then Barcelona tomorrow after a few anxious days waiting to hear if British Airways was going to strike today. They have been striking, cabin crew, a few days here and a few days there. They are going to attend Norman's daughter Erin's graduation from an econonmics school she has been attending for the past two years. They have been to Barcelona, on their honeymoon, and hope to have a few days to see more sights.Bob and family are also flying BA tonight, different flight, to London Heathrow and then on to France for a year. Bob has to go where the jobs are available, not too many in his area of mathematics. I know everyone appreciated his involvment with Drew and the network while he was in Victoria. He was a great friend and we will miss him. I'm sure everyone joins me in wishing him the best of luck! He will keep in touch via Drew's Grapevine and his own blog, a link on our blog.
Actually, we were on the same flight as Trudi & Norman. It was chock full of paralympians returning home to Europe.
