Drew, Gerri & Mt. Tolmie

Drew actually passed this along to me:  he and Gerri went out for supper at Red Robin on Friday night and
then took a drive up Mt. Tolmie, Drew's favourite Victoria vantage point.  He asked me to let everyone know how much he likes driving up there to appreciate the 360 view of Victoria, Haro Strait, Saanich Pennisula and Sooke Hills, sometimes even spectacular views of Mt. Baker.  Its also a favourite picnic spot with lots of well placed tables to enjoy the view.  I'll take a photo next time I am up there with him to go along with this post. Ask Trudi sometime how many trips she has made up Mt. Tolmie with Drew!  While my father was still alive he and Drew had a standing date every two weeks to get burgers at MacDonalds and take them up to Tolmie for a picnic, one of Drews' favourite memories of his grandfather.  So and he and the mountain go back a long ways and thanks to good friends he can continue enjoying it.
