The boxes all shipped yesterday, so it was really just down to the cleaning. With Jinu watching on in amazement, Drew vacuumed the whole house and cleaned out the kitchen cupboards. And for a finale, we bravely ventured behind the white-goods! Man, there was two good years worth of accumulated gunk back there. I think it's fair to say that the true test of a friendship is to be found behind the oven.
Not wanting to have grease-stains as our parting moment in Victoria, we finished the morning off with lunch at Barb's -- a great James Bay moment. Stupidly I forgot to take the camera, so you'll just have to imagine the two of us down there, chomping on halibut in the proud afterglow of a truly clean kitchen.
Thanks for the good times in Victoria, Drew (and all you networkers, too!). We'll be in touch.
Wow! Drew's been hiding his light under a bushel!
ReplyDeleteI'll have to invite him over for a cleaning party at our place! Do you think he'll accept!?
Thanks for the post Bob, its great, love the picture. We saw you guys on Oswego, you must have been heading down to Barbs, from the car crossing Oswego at Niagara. I'll enter it as a "Drew Sighting"
Cheers
